Refund Policy

OFFSET SHOW is operated by Wagon UK Automotive Events LTD, a company registered in England and Wales. All ticket sales, services, and associated terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. By purchasing a ticket, you are entering into a legally binding contract with Wagon UK Automotive Events LTD, and you agree to abide by the following terms and conditions in line with UK consumer law.

1. Legal Basis for Refund Policy

This policy is compliant with:

  • The Consumer Rights Act 2015
  • The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013
  • Guidance from the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) for event organisers

Under UK law, there is no automatic right to a refund for “live leisure events” (such as exhibitions, shows, or festivals) where the contract includes a specific date or timeframe, unless the event is cancelled, significantly changed, or misrepresented.

2. All Sales Are Final

All tickets for OFFSET SHOW are sold on a non-refundable basis, except in the rare instance of a full event cancellation (see Section 5 below).

Refunds will not be offered due to:

  • Personal circumstances (e.g. illness, travel issues)
  • Late arrival
  • Weather conditions
  • Change of mind after purchase

You are advised to carefully consider your availability and travel plans before completing your booking.

3. Non-Refundable Admin Fee

  • Each ticket is subject to a £2.50 non-refundable admin fee.
  • This fee covers administrative, processing, and platform costs.
  • It is not refundable under any circumstances, even if the event is cancelled, postponed, or rescheduled.

4. Changes in Personal Circumstances

In accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015, a refund is not required where the service has been made available as described, but the customer chooses not to or is unable to attend.

No refunds or exchanges will be provided for:

  • Illness (including COVID-19 or flu-like symptoms)
  • Shift changes, work conflicts, or childcare issues
  • Travel delays, vehicle breakdowns, or missed transport
  • Double bookings or diary errors
  • Adverse weather (unless the event is officially cancelled)
  • Loss or theft of tickets (please contact us to reissue)

5. Event Cancellation by the Organiser

If OFFSET SHOW is fully cancelled (not postponed), you will be entitled to a refund of the ticket price excluding the non-refundable £1.75 admin fee, in line with the CMA’s guidelines for event organisers.

  • Refunds will be processed using the original payment method.
  • Reasonable time will be allowed for administrative processing.
  • We will notify all affected customers directly via email and/or social media.

6. Rescheduling or Significant Change

If the event is rescheduled:

  • Your ticket will remain valid for the new date.
  • No automatic refunds will be issued unless the new date represents a significant change to the contract (e.g. substantial change in location or scope).

If there is a material change to the event (e.g. venue relocation to a different city or major element of the experience is removed), affected customers may request a refund in line with the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

7. Access, Travel & Road-Related Conditions

As OFFSET SHOW is a fixed-date event, no refunds will be issued for transportation or access issues beyond our control. This includes:

7.1 Traffic Delays or Congestion

  • Refunds are not available for delays caused by:
    • Road congestion (motorways, A-roads, or local access routes)
    • Temporary closures or diversions
    • Police or emergency services activity
    • Venue entry or exit queue times

7.2 Public Transport Disruption

  • We are not responsible for:
    • Train or bus cancellations
    • Delayed or rerouted services
    • Industrial action or strikes

7.3 Parking and Access

  • Refunds will not be issued due to:
    • Difficulty finding parking
    • Queuing to enter or leave the site
    • Inaccessible vehicles or flat batteries
    • Late arrival resulting in denied access

If you require disabled access or special accommodations, please contact us before the event.

7.4 Weather and Driving Conditions

  • OFFSET SHOW is an outdoor or partially outdoor event. We cannot offer refunds due to:
    • Rain, storms, or poor driving conditions
    • Localised flooding or weather alerts
    • Advice from travel agencies or local councils

Please plan and prepare accordingly with real-time travel data.

8. Ticket Transfers or Resale

  • Tickets may not be resold for profit or used for commercial gain without written permission from the organiser.
  • Any unofficial resale may result in the ticket being cancelled without notice.
  • Tickets may be transferred to another name upon request, subject to admin review and processing.

9. Legal Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of English courts.
